Crossroads Family Center is located in El Cajon and provides services to children, youth and their families throughout the entire East Region of San Diego County.  Crossroads provides a full range of outpatient based diagnostic and treatment services. The historical root of Crossroads is Rural Family Counseling, which began providing services in 1979. This long tradition of community-based mental health services continues today and has expanded over the years.  The primary client populations served are low income and Medi-Cal children and adolescents. The services are provided based on the wraparound principles established by the children's mental health community.

General Descriptions

The CYF Clinician provides therapeutic interventions to clients and/or members of clients' families in a timely and professional manner in individual, group and family modalities.  Services are delivered in a manner consistent with diagnosis and service plan goals. Conduct collateral interviews as indicated with all identified partners, i.e., school, social services, probation and other treatment providers.  Provide crisis intervention for clients and their families. Maintain timely, complete, accurate and professional documentation according to CRF's policies and procedures and the Uniform Clinical Record Manual. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.  Develop service plans that are measurable, observable and completed according to time lines. Updates and re-evaluates service plans when clinically indicated and per guidelines.  Meets or exceeds productivity standards as defined by the Program.  Document's in medical record according to requirements of regulatory agencies.

Qualifications/Skills Requirements

M.A or M.S. in related field. Registered Intern with Board of Behavioral Sciences, licensed and/or registered MFT, IMF, LCSW, ASW and/or PhD or PsyD.  Experience working with children and families preferred. Valid CA Driver's license and personal vehicle with current proof of insurance, MS Office software exp required. Bi-Lingual Spanish and Bi-Cultural preferred.
